2023 Club Championship
Times:____. Round 1 on 12th Oct will start at 8:00pm. All players should be present by 7:45pm to be included in the R1 pairings.
All other rounds start: 7:45 pm.
Venue:_____ Croydon RSL Hall, Civic Square, Croydon, VIC.
Covid precautions:_____ Air purifiers in operation. Please don’t attend if you have any flu-like symptoms. Wearing a mask is welcomed.
Format:____7 7 round Swiss.
Time control: ____60min + 30s/move. ACF Classic rated.
Prizes: 1st: $140 plus trophy; 2nd: $100; 3rd: $60
Rating prizes: U1600, U1300, U1000 $60 each,
Junior prize: $50 (at most one cash prize per player)
Registration & Entry fee:
Members: $20 – Payment to our bank account is preferred, however exact cash payment on the first evening will be accepted.
Non-members: $40 – Please pay to our bank account and notify the Organiser of your name, contact number and payment details

Forfeit time: __30 min. It is important to notify the organiser of any foreseeable absence by text message as soon as possible. Failure to do so inconveniences your opponent and may result in a sanction such as enforced withdrawal and denial of entry to the next club tournament.
