2013 Most Beautiful Game Award: Ian Birchall
This game was selected by IM Guy West as the most beautiful game played by a club member at the club in 2013. This was the first time Ian had defeated Guy and Guy’s only loss for the year. Ian was able to maintain pressure throughout the game and was rewarded after some inaccurate play from Guy.
